Getting started
How do I join a session?
On the start screen, enter the session code the coach gave you, pick SAILOR mode, confirm your sail number, then tap START SESSION.
How do I create a session as a coach?
Tap NEW next to the session code field to generate a code, pick COACH mode, tap START SESSION, and share the code with your sailors.
Why isn't my location showing?
iOS requires permission for location while using the app. Check Settings → Sail Dash → Location and allow "While Using the App" at minimum.
Why isn't the timer beep audible?
Sail Dash intentionally plays timer audio even when the phone's silent switch is on, so you don't miss a start. Make sure the physical volume is up.
Can I use Sail Dash offline?
Yes. Once signed in on a connected network, the app works offline on the water. Session data uploads when you reconnect.
Account
How do I delete my account?
Inside the app: Account → Delete Account. You'll need to re-authenticate. This removes your profile and session history.
I signed in as a guest — can I keep my session history if I make a real account later?
Yes. In Account, tap CREATE ACCOUNT and pick email, Apple, or Google. Your existing session history stays with your account.
